EPIC Shipping Starts This Week!

Great news, EPIC fans! The new issue of EPIC has arrived from the printer and came out great!

We're expecting the METAL CARDS and METAL BOOKMARKS to arrive this week, which means we'll be in great shape to start packing and shipping books out to all of you awesome backers who helped make it happen! 

Thanks to 360 of you for getting those Backerkit Surveys filled out so we can get you your comics as soon as possible...

EPIC VOLUME 1 STILL PRINTING

We did want to give you the heads up that our new printing of an EPIC Volume 1 trade collection is still printing overseas, so those copies have not arrived yet. So, if your order included the V1 trade, note that we will not be able to ship it until those books arrive.  We appreciate your patience, as we know that special collected edition will be worth the wait! 

EPIC #5 is Underway!

We also wanted to let you know that Tyler has been churning out pages of scripts, and Matt has jumped into rough layouts for an action packed EPIC #5! New villains! Tons of action! Can't wait to show you more!

We'll circle back next week with a progress update on fulfillment!

EPIC Digital PDFs Unleashed! Plus: Standees Arrived and Are FIRE!

Hey, EPIC Backers! Great news! We just released the PDFs for EPIC Digital Backers (and physical backers who also get digital back-ups!) You should have received an email from Backerkit letting you know that your files are ready... but if you didn't, you can always log into Backerkit here to get them: https://epic4.backerkit.com/

Hope you enjoy the digital files... and don't worry print backers, the print books won't be far behind! 

EPIC ACRYLIC STANDEES IN THE HOUSE! 

 We also just got our shipment of EPIC Standees in from our supplier! This is our first time ordering this product, so we're more than a little excited. The colors really pop on this bad boy. 

NOTE: If you ordered a Standee, know that there is an opaque protective plastic cover on the pieces that you'll need to peel off when they arrive. 

DOUBLE NOTE: There is STILL TIME to add one of these Standees to your order through Backerkit if you haven't already.  Access your Pledge Manager here and add one!

Hey, how cool is this! Fresh from the production floor, we just got this image of the first EPIC acrylic standee off the press! 

We can't wait to upgrade our shelves with this cool collectible! 

Note, you can add an EPIC standee to your pledge through BACKERKIT for just $20 while supplies last! 

And speaking of Backerkit, big thanks to all of you who wasted no time in completing your Backerkit surveys yesterday! Less than 24 hours later and more than half of all surveys are already in! 

Getting surveys in is key to us being able to finalize our order counts and prep for fulfillment.

Boom!💥As promised, we've just sent out the EPIC 1-4 Shipping Surveys, Powered by Backerkit, to all backers this afternoon.  So, those survey links should be sitting in your inbox now if you haven't got them already!

Note, we're hoping to send out digital files NEXT WEEK, which means if you want to be thanked as a backer in the PDF, we need your names ASAP! So, the survey deadline to be included in the PDF is THIS Thursday, October 19, 2023 at midnight!

We are currently planning on locking in orders on 10/25, and any add-ons made on Backerkit with credit cards will be charged on 10/30. (Note: If you choose to pay for add-ons or shipping through Paypal, those charges will be charged immediately, because that's how Paypal does things.)

A Quick Look at Extras in the EPIC Shipping Survey [Coming Monday]

Hey, EPIC backers!

Good news! Production on the new issue is complete and we've just sent files over to our printer! Things are looking great! 

We expect Kickstarter funds to hit over the weekend, so we will be sending our Backerkit Shipping Survey to most backers on MONDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2023!*

This survey is designed to collect your shipping information and for you to confirm any add-ons you may have pledged for during the EPIC campaign.

And for INTERNATIONAL BACKERS, who were not charged anything for shipping during the Kickstarter campaign, the survey will also be where you'll be able to pay for shipping using our TOTAL ORDER WEIGHT shipping. (Remember, US shipping was and still is free.)

ADD-ON EXTRAS, PLEDGE UPGRADES & DROPPED PLEDGE RECOVERY

Any Kickstarter add-ons or special perks will be reflected in your order on Backerkit. And even if you didn't select any add-ons during the Kickstarter campaign, you'll be able to upgrade your pledge to a higher level or choose some ADD-ON EXTRAs when you fill out your survey as well!

On Monday morning*, the EPIC Kickstarter Survey, powered by Backerkit, will go out. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

*Note: About 5% of backers will receive their surveys early, so that we can "smoke test" the survey delivery and make sure everything is working properly, prior to sending them all out. If you happen to receive your survey early, we encourage you to fill it out right away.

Unfortunately, we were sad to see that 12 backers' pledges were dropped as Kickstarter was unable to resolve their credit card charge issues...

However, those backers WILL be able to fix this through the Backerkit Survey.

Also, if you made a mistake in your pledge and selected the wrong reward, you will be able to correct it when the survey comes, as well as provide us with additional info so we can fulfill your pledge!

Here's a Tutorial Walkthrough Showing How Easy (and fun!) it Is to Complete Your Survey So We Can Ship Your Rewards!

NEW: UPGRADE YOUR EPIC TRADES TO INCLUDE A SIGNED & NUMBERED ART PLATE!

If you selected the new EPIC Vol 1 Trade collection for your catch-up tier or added it to your pledge, you'll be able to upgrade that book to include a signed and numbered adhesive art plate. This plate will be signed by artist Matt Zolman and writer Tyler James and included in your book.  You can upgrade your book for just +$15 in Backerkit!

Note: Our signed plate upgrades are limited to 100!
