We Didn't Think We'd Have to Do This Yet... New EPIC Vol 1 Trade Option Available!

Every now and again as a comic creator, you're presented with a GOOD PROBLEM to have. (Hey, that's an OXYMORON... is he coming back next? Stay tuned!) 

When we launched this campaign, we had a feeling that we would be getting a lot of backers who would be discovering EPIC for the very first time, and would want to dive into the EPIC backlist to read the entire series from the very beginning. And we were right! 

As you can see, our two most popular tiers are the PRINT (#1) and Digital (#2) Catch-Up Tiers for this campaign. 

The good part, is that we're having so much success getting fans to go all in on EPIC to catch up on over 100+ pages of previously published comic book EPICness spread across 4 awesome issues.  The PROBLEM is that, prior to launching this campaign, we knew we only had a limited # of EPIC Catch-up Tier Sets to sell.  

And guess what? We're about to sell completely through all of the First-printing Single Issue Sets in existence! 

We're capping the total # of Single issue PRINT CATCH-UP Tiers at 135, and when the final 3 sell, that pledge will be closed.  But, since we still have more than a week to go, we're rolling out another option...

Honestly, we thought we'd be able to wait until a future campaign to roll this out, but the EPIC demand is here now... which is why we've just made available a NEW CATCH-UP TIER OPTION that let's backers still get all caught up on the EPIC action! We're going to be going to press on an NEW volume collecting all previously published EPIC material in one tidy perfect bound softcover volume! 

Now, the cover for this design is still be completed and colored... we'll show off the awesome final image as soon as its ready. But, because we don't want any EPIC fans to miss out on getting all the EPIC they can handle, we're making this new pledge available now.

Hey, Tyler James here! Thank you SO MUCH for the amazing support thus far sparking this EPIC comeback. It's funny, in a lot of ways the creation of EPIC was a counterpoint to the work I was doing on the other comic book project that I'm most known for, THE RED TEN. If you're unfamiliar with it, THE RED TEN is a ten-issue superhero murder mystery I worked on with artist Cesar Feliciano. It was a very dark, twisted, and cynical look at superheroes... a reaction to some of the things I didn't like that I was seeing in the mainstream comics industry.  

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm very proud of the work Cesar and I did on THE RED TEN... but one of the things that writing EPIC let me do was to really cleanse the mental palette and instead of focusing on the darkness, it really embraces the light... and everything that first attracted me to the superhero medium so many years ago as a kid.  

In many ways, EPIC is the yang to THE RED TEN's yin... and I've had a blast working on both titles. One thing that pleasantly surprised me is that I've found many comic readers who have also enjoyed BOTH series over the years, as different as they are from one another.
